Akusekere

'SEKERE" is a local musical instrument in western part of africa especially among the yoruba tribe. The player is addressed as " Alusekere" and its their belief that "sekere' is not played where they are mourning as reflected in their proverbs that says; sekere kii bawon rode ibanuje. which means sekere is not played in funneral. The form of entertainment in africa shows how rich the african culture is. So, this piece of art celebrate the african form of entertainment.
